The medical world is all about precision. Especially in radiotherapy, where every detail counts. myQA DepthTracer is a software tool that helps medical physicists verify that a radiation system is still doing what it's supposed to do: treating patients safely and accurately. The software compares measurements with reference data, verifying the device's performance.
For this complex but crucial application, Pilipili worked on restructuring the information architecture as well as designing a new UX and UI. We brought clarity to the technical flow and designed an interface that feels intuitive to both new and experienced users. Because even in a high-tech context, ease of use makes all the difference.
We started with a thorough analysis of the existing situation: the users, their context and the current screens and flows. On that basis, we identified areas for improvement, which we translated into clear user stories.
We then optimized the general framework - think navigation and information structure - and worked out the various screens step by step. We did this iteratively, with regular feedback from the customer, the developers and the end users. The result? A set of final screens, ready for development and use.
