Ergodôme, with a little good will it sounds like one of the many stages at Tomorrowland, but they are indeed the expert in ergonomic furniture and advice. Just too bad their showroom wasn't as comfortable as their products. Pilipili to the rescue!
To stay with Tomorrowland for a moment: these days everything is about experience, and they have understood that in Boom for years. But even in more professional environments, people's experience goes all-in. That was also our thinking when designing the new Ergodôme showroom.
Hip look, fresh flow.
To create experience, the look and feel of a showroom is insanely important. So we took care of tabula rasa regarding the outdated showroom and returned to zero completely.
At the same time, the flow within the showroom was taken into account. After all, a visit to Ergodôme should feel logical and easy, just like their products. We looked for and found the perfect layout so that visitors don't have to search for anything and everything flows naturally
Unpack with color and materials.
Once the concept was purified on the table, it was time for elaboration. We went in search of the right colors and materials to make the shopping experience as we had plotted it in VR a reality.
Virtual Verification.
Virtual Reality was used during the design process. Instead of presenting the designs on paper or on a computer screen, the client was able to virtually walk through their new store even before we touched one finger on the interior.
That way, they felt the created spaces very well and could give targeted feedback on the spot. Because of this efficient VR approach, we quickly arrived at the beautiful and practical final result.
Seeing a VR environment become an actual showroom is magical.
