From product thinking to market opportunities

Paneltim knocked on Pilipili's door for creative support for their symposium. We designed the entire setting and even got to work on innovative applications of their existing products.

But what started as a creative project grew into a strategic collaboration. Because behind their technical expertise schooled a new story. One that deserved not only a brand identity, but also new markets and applications.

A symposium
as a catalyst

Paneltim initially asked us to help think about the spatial design of their international symposium. We designed the entire setting, integrated their products into the space in an innovative way, and brought it all to life in 3D and virtual reality.

But what really stood out? This was not a classic event.
The tone was different. The ambition higher.

Time for a
new story

After the symposium, it became clear: Paneltim was in need of a new identity. Not only did the logo feel too small for the company they are today, the story and look needed to evolve with it.

Pilipili guided the brand through a complete rebranding, with new positioning and a clear promise.

Empowering creators to build what lasts.

More than ever, Paneltim is establishing itself as a partner for makers, engineers and designers. With lightweight, durable panels that inspire innovation. What you build with it is up to you. But that it will last a long time is certain.

From brand story to market exploration

Innovation never stops at Paneltim. So in a third phase, we teamed up to find new applications and markets for their existing range. Pilipili developed a strategic canvas and guided the first sessions. Paneltim built on this with their own focus groups. No brainstorming to come up with ‘something new’, but rather to cleverly look for new value with what is already there.
